The 45-year-old man convicted of sexually assaulting a Michigan woman for two hours after forcing her from the Wild Goose Trail was sentenced Thursday to 48 years in prison.
“This is not a probation case,” Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Richard Nuss said. “There is no way this ever should have happened. ... Anything less than the maximum sentence is not warranted.”
