Oakfield School District plans operating referendum

The Oakfield Board of Education plans to hold an operating referendum on April 2, 2013. Board members will draft a resolution in January for the amount and length of time, said district Superintendent Pam Yoder. The money will be used for overall operating costs for the district. Declining enrollment in the small community led to the closing of an elementary school, school consolidation and a reduction in the number of school administrators. Full Story: Fond du Lac Reporter
