Historic area bridge taken out of service

ST. CLOUD — For more than 100 years, the Palm Tree Road bridge near the Village of St. Cloud has provided a means for Holyland residents to cross the Sheboygan River — whether by horseback, wagon or car. Last month, Town of Marshfield board members elected to close the narrow, historic limestone landmark to traffic except for pedestrians, bicycles and small recreational vehicles.
