Veteran deputy retires from FdL Sheriff 's Office

One of the most well-known deputies on the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Office force was 10-42 — ending tour of duty in police lingo — for the final time on Thursday afternoon. Deputy Mike Hardgrove marked more than 30 years of service with a ceremonial march up the Western Avenue parking ramp surrounded by other deputies, captains, sergeants, lieutenants and Sheriff Mick Fink.
