Traffic is heavy at Fond du Lac drug drop

To help curb prescription drug abuse and provide safe disposal of old drugs in Fond du Lac, a 24-hour permanent drug drop box was established in the city in 2008. “We were seeing an increase in the rate of students being expelled or suspended for sharing or selling prescription medications,” said Janet Lloyd, Drug Free Communities Grant coordinator in Fond du Lac.
