Stock the Shelves makes a difference in Fond du Lac

Area families hit by hard times depend on food assistance to help make ends meet. The numbers of those in need continues to climb, according to local food pantries. Through the generosity of hundreds of readers and many business partners, local pantry shelves will be full this winter season. The third annual Fond du Lac area Stock the Shelves campaign was an overwhelming success, raising $73,304.46 and collecting 1,150 pounds of food to help alleviate hunger.
