Grant will help McNeilus add 70 jobs

Grant funding awarded to the city of Fond du Lac will support a project that adds 70 new jobs at McNeilus Steel. Gov. Scott Walker announced the $600,000 Transportation Economic Assistance grant on Thursday. It represents the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s contribution toward rail improvements to serve McNeilus Steel. The city will not provide funds, but will act as sponsor of the grant.
