Funeral director accused of dealing heroin from business

MARKESAN — A licensed funeral director who is accused of dealing drugs from a Markesan funeral home will stand trial. Melissa Wachholz, 25, entered a not guilty plea in Green Lake County Court to three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and maintaining a drug trafficking place. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing and faces up to 22 years in prison if convicted. Full Story: Post Crescent
