Fond du Lac will get new Holiday Inn Express

Construction of a 90-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites is being planned for part of the property that is home to the current Holiday Inn hotel at the corner of Military Road and Rolling Meadows Drive. Wisco Hotel Group, owned by William Zanetis of Chicago and Walter Hickey of New York, has been approved for the project by InterContinental Hotels Group, an international company that owns more than 4,500 hotels and motels worldwide under a number of brands.
