Dog bite suspect found guilty by jury

The father of the 18-year-old man who was allegedly attacked by a friend’s dog was found guilty Friday by a jury of being at the scene and failing to help his son. Joel Kennedy Sr., 43, of New Berlin, was found guilty of false imprisonment, personal duty to aid a victim/report a crime, substantial battery and first-degree reckless injury, all as a party to the crime.
