The first major snowstorm of the season had emergency personnel working around the clock Wednesday through Friday dealing with accidents, slippery roads, power outages and downed tree limbs.
Snow began falling Wednesday evening in Fond du Lac and continued through Thursday —the day before the Mayan calendar was predicting the world would end.
