60 years in prison ordered for sex assault of child

A 59-year-old Illinois man was sentenced Tuesday to 60 years in prison by Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Richard Nuss for sexually assaulting a girl multiple times at a Fond du Lac County campground. Fairly Earls was convicted in 1997 of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl, but after appealing the case he was granted a new trial for having ineffective counsel. Full Story: Fond du Lac Reporter
